I've always loved meeting new people, but sometimes you meet a new client and you really hit it off. Krystin was new to Northern Virginia and searching for a photographer for her maternity session. She wanted someone who she would connect with and who would help bring her photography dreams to life.
The first time we spoke neither of us could put down the phone, we talked for nearly 2 HOURS about life, love, religion and everything in between. Finding a photog that you can connect with is so important. It really shows in the photos and it makes the whole process fun and easy for both of us.
We decided to do Krystin & Justin's session on their family farm in Fauquier County, Virginia. Choosing a place for your photos that's near and dear to you is always a good idea. When I drove up the long gravel drive I was in awe at my surroundings and could not wait to photograph them here.
Krystin & Justin are expecting their first child and I feel incredibly honored to have been able to capture part of their story during this special chapter in their lives. I hope you enjoy a small glimpse from our session below...
